FAQs

Please see below our most frequently asked questions. If you still have a question after reviewing our FAQs you may contact info@avellainteriors.com.

Our Tables

Are Avella Interiors tables handmade?

Yes. Our tables are handcrafted to order and produced locally in Texas. Subtle variations are expected and are part of the character of a handmade piece.

What is the difference between the collections?

The Original Lacquer Collection features Avella’s signature lacquer finish.

The Woven Collection is hand-wrapped, creating a refined texture.

The Portico Collection has folding legs, a water-resistant finish for flexible indoor and appropriate covered outdoor use.

What is beneath the removable tabletop?

The removable top reveals a recessed playing area with storage for games, puzzles, cards, tiles, and other essentials.

Does the table arrive assembled?

Yes. Avella tables are delivered assembled. Please measure every doorway, hallway, turn, stairwell, and elevator along the delivery path before ordering.

Customization and Ordering

Do you offer custom colors?

Custom colors are available for select collections. Fees and availability vary. Email info@avellainteriors.com with the paint brand, color name, and color number.

Will the finished color exactly match my sample?

We make every reasonable effort to represent the selected color beautifully, but lighting, sheen, substrate, surrounding colors, and screen settings can affect appearance. An exact match cannot be guaranteed.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Orders are considered final. Submit a request within 24 hours to orders@avellainteriors.com. We will try to help if production has not begun, but approval is not guaranteed.

Do you offer glass tops?

Glass tops may be available as an optional addition. They are not included unless shown on the invoice or order confirmation. Email info@avellainteriors.com for current availability and pricing.

Do you offer rush production?

Rush production may be available depending on workshop capacity, materials, color, quantity, and destination. Rush fees apply, and a requested date is not confirmed until approved in writing.

Production and Delivery

How is furniture delivered?

Lead times vary by collection and are listed on the product page or proposal. Shipping time begins after the piece is completed, inspected, and released. All timelines are estimates rather than guaranteed dates.

How is furniture delivered?

Furniture is generally delivered by an independent third-party furniture-delivery provider. The provider will contact you directly to coordinate a delivery date and window.

Is delivery included in the product price?

Delivery is charged separately unless the invoice or order confirmation states otherwise. The cost depends on destination, quantity, product type, access, and service level.

Do I need to be present for delivery?

Yes. An adult must be present to receive, inspect, and sign for the furniture.

What should I do when the table arrives?

Inspect the top, base, legs, edges, hardware, finish, and removable components before the delivery team leaves. Note visible damage on the delivery paperwork, take photographs, and contact orders@avellainteriors.com the same day.

What if I discover concealed damage?

Report it within 48 hours to orders@avellainteriors.com. Include your order number, photographs of the full piece and affected area, delivery paperwork, and packaging photographs when available. Keep all packaging until advised otherwise.

Returns, Product Concerns, and Resale

Can I return my table?

No. Avella Interiors furniture is handcrafted to order, and all furniture sales are final. Verified delivery damage, craftsmanship concerns, or order errors will be reviewed individually under the applicable policies.

Does Avella Interiors offer a written product warranty?

No. Avella Interiors does not offer a separate written product warranty. Delivery damage and verified craftsmanship concerns must be reported promptly and will be reviewed individually under the Return and Cancellation Policy and Shipping and Delivery Policy.

What happens if a designer or dealer resells the table to a client?

Avella Interiors’ relationship is with the original purchasing designer, dealer, or trade account, not a downstream buyer. The dealer is responsible for client service, delivery, installation, resale, and related matters. Any claim to Avella Interiors must be submitted by the original purchasing dealer and remains subject to the applicable policies.

Who is responsible after delivery is accepted?

The purchaser is responsible for handling, storage, transportation, installation, relocation, and any later sale or transfer. Avella Interiors is not responsible for damage, defects, or claims arising after delivery has been accepted, including claims made by a subsequent owner, customer, or other third party.

Product Care

How should I clean a lacquer table?

Use a clean, soft microfiber cloth. For a light spill, use a barely damp cloth and dry the surface immediately. Avoid paper towels, abrasive cloths, household cleaners, alcohol, bleach, ammonia, oils, waxes, and solvents.

Can I place hot items directly on the table?

No. Avella tables are not heat resistant. Always use a trivet, placemat, or protective barrier beneath warm or hot dishes, appliances, candles, and serving pieces.

How should I care for a Woven table?

Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth. Blot a light spill with a barely damp cloth and immediately follow with a dry cloth. Do not rub, scrub, saturate, or use surface cleaners.

Can a Portico table remain outside?

The Portico table is water resistant, not waterproof. It may be used indoors, on a covered porch or patio, or temporarily poolside in appropriate weather. Do not leave it in rain, standing water, storms, or uncovered outdoor conditions.

Trade Accounts

Do you offer trade pricing?

Yes. Approved design professionals may qualify. Please fill out our trade account request form; we may request a resale certificate, business information, and portfolio or project photographs as well.
